Improving the transition capability of the low-voltage wind turbine in the sub-synchronous state using a fuzzy controller

Abstract The main problem of wind turbines is associated with induction generators in their power supply during short circuits the grid. In this research, a new method presented for uninterrupted operation turbine equipped an generator fed on both sides feeding network errors. Wind farms doubly-fed (DFIG) require two abilities to allow system operators increase proficiency. These capabilities include fault ride-through and synchronization output force fluctuations, especially when these generate significant electrical power. A MATLAB® software environment has been used evaluate improve performance turbines. fuzzy complement (FC) controller DFIG. results demonstrate that limits current voltage short-circuit mode well. Regarding obtained from comparing different modes, it can be said ripple 4% FC mode, while parameter equal 10% proportional-integral controller.
